A very special and unique Black tea
We have played with the standard Black tea making process to develop a unique tea. The result is really something special! We created an Oolong inspired Black tea.
Input from the esteemed Dr. Virginia Lovelace gave us insight into a new process for us to experiment with. It uses the tumbling and withering process of an Oolong but it is processed out like a black tea.
The result is a highly floral, honey, black tea with lots of
Theaflavin and less Thearubigen and more small polyphenols than our standard black tea. We are loving the extra floral notes and the smooth taste of this Black tea.
Flavor profile:
This Black Tea has Flavor and Aroma notes of Orchid, Lilac and Rose along with the great Black Magnolia sweetness.
Country of origin:
Brookhaven, Mississippi, USA
