Nutrient rich mushrooms, meet the goodness of tea, to combine into one beneficial and tasty blend.
We collaborated with Down Home Mushrooms to develop this beneficial blend. We take our Black Magnolia tea, traditional Chai spices and blend it with dried Reishi Mushrooms to create this rich and calming tea.
What is Reishi Mushroom?
Reishi (pronounced ray-she) is a unique, woody mushroom that has been used for centuries in traditional cultures, especially in East Asia. Often called the “mushroom of immortality” in folklore, Reishi is known for its deep, earthy flavor and distinctive reddish color.
In tea, Reishi adds a rich, grounding note, sometimes described as slightly bitter or savory, that blends beautifully with herbs, spices, and other botanicals. It brings depth and complexity to the cup, making each sip feel intentional and calming.
Our Reishi blend celebrates this ancient ingredient in a delicious, approachable way — no tinctures, no pills, just a warm cup of tea.
Flavor profile:
A bold, comforting cup with the warm, spiced complexity of classic chai, think cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and clove, layered over the smooth depth of our Southern-grown Black Magnolia tea. Earthy notes from Reishi mushrooms add a grounding richness, creating a gently savory undertone that balances the spice. The result is a velvety, full-bodied blend with just a hint of sweetness and a soft, lingering finish.
