The competition held by the Tea & Herbal Association of Canada judges teas based on lead dry, leaf wet, appearance, flavor and overall impact. This tea is very special to us for many great reasons. This green tea is hand picked in the field. Then we pan fire it to stop the oxidation process. In the final step, the leaves are placed into the carding machine where it is heated until the leaves roll perfectly into a thin needle shape.

This means they may not be held to US standards for processing and food safety. At The Great Mississippi Tea Company we work hard to ensure all food and safety standards are met.
