Why should you buy a US grown tea?

The growing conditions in Mississippi allow for us to grow a fantastic cup of tea.

All tea is grown from a Camellia Sinensis plant but the growing conditions can impact some of the flavor of your team as well as how it is processed. But at The Great Mississippi Tea Company we have used innovation and science to develop some outstanding American grown tea. In fact, many of our teas are award winners, including our Black tea, Black Magnolia, our Peach tea, Grilled Southern Peach and our Yellow tea, Mississippi Sunshine. The Yellow tea is truly an outstanding fermented green tea. So when you purchase a US grown tea you are getting a tea that is not going to taste the same as a tea grown in China or even in another state. It will have its own distinct Mississippi flavor.

Secondly, if you are purchasing our tea you can share with your customers that you are supporting a small LGBTQ+ business. Owners Jason and Timmy have been working hard for 10 years to grow their tea business and nothing has come easily that is for sure. They have lost a lot of tea plants along the way. But they have been successful in their goal to bring tea closer to Americans by simply persevering. Today, they have almost 40,000 tea plants and have grown, processed and sold more tea every year since they have started.
